Dr. P. Prasannakumar has graduated from Madras Veterinary College in 2005. Then he obtained his Postgraduate Degree from the College of Veterinary Sciences Hisar, Haryana. He started the companion animal practice as a Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in Karakathikottai, Government Veterinary Dispensary for 2 years. Then he started as a Senior Consultant cum Orthopedic and Soft Tissue Surgeon in SKS Veterinary Hospitals from Sep 2011 till date. He also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Small Animal Orthopedics (PGDORT) from Madras Veterinary College in 2013. He received the best veterinary Doctor Award of Trichy district from Honorable District Collector on 15th Aug 2018. He participates as a vet consultant and resource person in Radio interviews. He trains number of budding Veterinarians both national and international. He participated in various international training programmes, like 42nd World Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress (WSAVA) at Copenhagen, Denmark in 2017, 9th FASAVA Congress in Singapore in 2018, 43rd WSAVA in Singapore in 2018, 44th WSAVA in Toronto, Canada in 2019 and number of National Training Programs all over India
